Wool, a material of incredible versatility, is born on a sheep. When excessive heat makes it harmful to sheep, we remove it with all the attention it needs. Each fleece has the name of the sheep that he gave it to us. For us that fleece has a face, a name, a personality. It is this living wool that activates our creative process. By working it with love, our thoughts unfold and we can tap into the universal creative flow.

Ahimsa-Amore di Lana proposes an unconventional path: a whole day between meadows, woods and gullies of the forgotten Apennines, together with their flock, to return to being convivial deeply immersed in the element of nature and in her gifts . You will be personally involved in the processing of wool and in activities to stimulate creativity. You will learn wool pre-carding and carding, you will be provided with a kit with wool, herbs and instructions to be able to experiment with wool dyeing yourself at home and finally you will receive our video tutorial for the realization of a small surprise project.

IN EVIDENZA

It will be a day in nature. Appropriate clothing and shoes are therefore recommended for the context, a 1 × 2 meter towel (or blanket) and your own water bottle (as well as a packed lunch if you do not opt for the vegetable lunch offered as an extra);
We also ask you to bring a ballpoint pen + some colored pencils;
In case of bad weather, taking the course outdoors, we reserve the right to reschedule a new date with you.

Precarding and carding of wool, with creative stimulation activities;
Visit to the laboratory;
Gift dyeing kit and video tutorial for the creation of a small surprise project;
Optional extra - Lunch with organic vegetable menu: Potato salad with thyme, Polenta chips with tzatziki sauce, Pepper salad with melon and mint, Vegetable and marjoram meatloaf with bean sauce, Pasta salad with garlic, oil and chilli pepper cream beetroot and coconut flakes, peach and hazelnut plumcake.
